GC stands for GRADE CONSCIOUS! A term that we used when we were in third year to those people who are very sensitive when it comes to their academics! Nothing could ever be compared to high school life as what most people say, and that is very true. Even now in college, though some of the barkada are in the same school, I still miss the high school days. I’ve known these people ever since 1st year high school. We belonged to the cream of the crop section. Hangga sa till 4th year, we still are together! I learned, grew and matured as a person, a student, and a friend with this people. There was a time pa nga na may tinago ako sa kanila and they knew it even before I had told them. Sa ngayon, may mga tao sa amin na napalayo, may nag punta ng Manila, ibang universities and even overseas, but it was never a hindrance for us to forget each other. We still have get together once in a while.
“change is the only thing permanent in this world”- (True isn’t it?) as what someone always told me, but there are some TRUE things that don’t change in this world and those are abstract things unseen by the eye, such as friendship! Even though now that we all aren’t in the same universities taking up our degrees, we still kept the friendship alive! Ito ang kapamilya ko and where I truly belong! GC rulesssss!
